OMG, what an awful day. We were running a tad behind schedule when I finally got the kids buckled in the car, and it wouldn't start. I called the school director to let her know that Jonathan either wouldn't be in at all or he'd be in once I got the battery replaced. She was at our house within 15 minutes to play pick-up service for him. What an amazing, dedicated woman. I am constantly reminded of how great his school is and how much they care about him.
So I missed my favorite yoga class. The tow truck came to jump the car, and it wouldn't restart after he jumped it. The battery was D-E-A-D. He took it to the local repair shop, who promised me to have it ready by 2. Problem was that I didn't have any cleaning supplies for the ladies, so Elise and I hoofed it to the grocery store and back and then to the bank and back. She napped. And I had to wake her up about 40 minutes before usual time to hoof it to the car shop. Of course, it went like clockwork, so we had an extra 15 minutes before pick-up time.
